Rick + Sarah Wedding
MV Magic Charm
Vancouver, BC
July 21, 2007
I was stoke when I found out that Rico and Gracci are doing a wedding aboard a charter yacht and I’ll get to second shoot with them! But just when I thought everything is great, I found out that the forecast for the day is 90% chance of rain and that’s obviously bad news but I thought I’d stay positive this time and counted on that 10%. At the end of it all, the wedding was so beautiful, I don’t think anybody would remember it rained that day! We got the shots we needed and wanted so everyone’s in their own happy place. Oh, the cruise up the Indian Arm was absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazingly delicious! I went to sleep tired with a big smile on my face. hehe
There’s just so much to tell about the Kertcher wedding that I am afraid I won’t be able to give it justice with words so I might as well just let the pictures do the talking.
first up, the details. looking at the picture below, you’d see that the graphic detailing is very well-put-together and consistent (from the invitation, souvenir to the dress of the bridesmaids). The bride has put a lot of effort and attention even on the littlest things. Of course, it helped that she got a graphic designer for a bridesmaid!
Here’s Sarah, making some last minute calls. i got two words for this pic… sweet serenity!!
and Rick, the groom..as you can tell from his wine glass. well, if you look hard enough. lol
again, the lovely bride. that’s her grandfather on the picture (the one in the middle)..now, that’s an ‘awwww’ moment!
i just love this one. it’s the bride’s brother and their grandmother.. i love how it speaks so much of the moment.
too bad, i was so caught up with shooting that i don’t really know what they’re laughing about. haha.. im sorry.. i’ll pay more attention next time.
some more “awwwwww” moments….
this is how you say ‘i love you’ without words..
the body language says it all…
spot the difference! the groomsmen have so much in common.. their wives are both 6months pregnant! isn’t that crazy?
the mother of the bride and the only child on the yacht, bailey, the flower girl..
The party continued on the rooftop patio of Ceilis Irish Pub where we took some vogue-ish (is this a word?) shots…

I’m saving the best for last. Dance of the bride and her father with her mother at the background. PRICELESS!, don’t you think?
Thanks again, Rico and Gracci!

Hi Ritchie!
Your pictures are truly beautiful! You’ve done a wonderful job of capturing our day! I’m very impressed! It’s amazing how you can really relive a moment through a photo! We’re glad that you were able to attend our wedding and that you enjoyed yourself! My only regret is that I didn’t really get a chance to speak with you much!
Well, you really are a wonderful photographer and it does show in your attention to detail. Thank you again for shooting our day! And we wish you much luck (not that it’s needed!) with your business!
Because of the fabulous & candid photos from Rick & Sarah’s wedding, we will be meeting with Rico & Gracci on the 15th for our celebration in December!
Well done!
